Hank Forsyth named EVP, Strategy and Business Development at Warner Chappell Music | Music Business Worldwide

Music and media executive Hank Forsyth (pictured) has joined Warner Chappell Music (WCM) as Executive Vice President, Strategy and Business Development.

In this role, Forsyth will develop and execute strategic initiatives to drive results for the publisher’s roster of songwriters and catalog.

Based in New York, Forsyth will report to WCM Co-Chair & CEO Guy Moot and Co-Chair and COO Carianne Marshall.

Forsyth was most recently COO & CFO of Blackbird Production Partners, a global media and content company, where he will remain an advisor.

Prior to Blackbird, he was SVP/GM of Blue Note Records, playing a central role in revitalizing the legendary label in partnership with its President, Don Was.

He previously spent almost 10 years with EMI Group and EMI Music Publishing, where his roles included SVP, Strategy & Analysis.

Forsyth began his career as an equity analyst at Salomon Brothers and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in New York and London.
