SoundCloud expands partnership with Global-owned DAX to Canada | Music Business Worldwide


SoundCloud has expanded its advertising agreement with Global-owned audio advertising platform Dax to include Canada.

DAX is already SoundCloud’s exclusive sales partner in the UK through an agreement that has been in place since 2018.

Advertisers in Canada will be able to access SoundCloud’s audio inventory programmatically and directly, exclusively through DAX.

In addition, advertisers will be able to gain insights about their audiences through DAX’s audio attribution measurement tool, Listener Insight ID.

Audio advertising campaigns on DAX can target audiences based on a variety of factors such as age, gender, location and preferred listening genre.

Global acquired the digital audio sales division of Canada-based leanStream to launch DAX Canada in November 2018.
