Maverick Management is getting into K-Pop.
The Live Nation-owned management conglomerate has brought Eshy Gazit into its ranks, who looks after the successful South Korean boy band Monsta X.
Gazit (pictured) is perhaps best known for his work with K-Pop phenomenon BTS, for whom he acted as U.S partner during their historic rise between 2016 and 2018.
Gazit’s recent achievements includes Monsta X’s addition to iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball Tour in 2018, as well as their two-time sold out world tours (including a stop at the Microsoft Theater in L.A).
Furthermore, Monsta X became the first K-Pop act to perform at the iHeartRadio Music Festival this year.
Monsta X’s latest album, Take.2 We Are Here., was released earlier this month and debuted at No.1 on the iTunes album chart worldwide.
The band also released a single recorded with Steve Aoki and are working on their next world tour and new collaborations.
Their latest music video, “Alligator” received 10 million YouTube views in under three days after being released on February 18.
Gazit began his career as multi-instrumentalist, sound engineer (Chrisette Michele, John legend, Estelle, The Strokes, KEXP Radio and others) and music producer. He has also worked in marketing (for Gramophone Media Inc), and in A&R.
Greg Thomson, President of Maverick, said : “We are thrilled to have Eshy join the Maverick family and I feel he brings a great amount of enthusiasm as well as a very unique skill set to our management group.”
Maverick’s roster of artists includes U2, Florida Georgia Line, Madonna, Paul McCartney, Britney Spears, The WKND, Lil Wayne, French Montana, Jason Aldean, Jill Scott, The Roots, Fifth Harmony, Rascal Flatts, and more.Music Business Worldwide
