Veteran publicist Brian Bumbery has joined Apple Music as Director of Publicity. Bumbery comes to the role after working closely with acts like Metallica, Green Day, Chris Cornell and Madonna.
Burberry spent eight years at Warner Bros. Records. Prior to joining Warner Bros., Bumbery was a partner at the independent PR company Score Press, where he worked with artists such as Dashboard Confessional, Pet Shop Boys, Saves the Day, and others.In 2011, he launched his own publicity firm, BB Gun Press. BB Gun’s current roster includes Fergie, Meghan Trainor, Shania Twain and Josh Groban, among numerous others. The firm has also been working with Apple Music for a number of months.
Following Bumbery’s exit, leadership of BB Gun will be in the hands of Luke Burland who joined the firm in 2016.
