Universal Music Publishing Group has named Rochelle Holguin to the newly-created position of Vice President of Creative Strategy. Holguin's new gig will see her with oversight of creative development and marketing for UPMG artists, songwriters and song catalog.
She will collaborate with UPMG's Sync and A&R teams, as well as UMG’s Film/TV development group, to leverage content deals with streaming services TV/film studios, digital, social media and other platforms.
Holguin was most recently at Viacom, where she was Vice President and had of their creative music services, with oversight ot music supervision across MTV, VH1 and LogoTV's linear and digital programs, promos, trailers and specials.
In 2015 Holguin was named an emerging Powerful & Influential Latino in Entertainment by the Imagen Foundation. She is also on the advisory board for the Women In Music organization.
